I will be brief, as I need to get down to the car parks in Ayr to distribute my leaflet on the latest SNP policy initiative. I want to address the enforcement of the car park charging scheme.
Sportscotland is chopping support to blokes who only get it to the tune of £2,000 or £3,000, while its latest statement is that it is keeping money for a rainy day—as far as minority sports are concerned, there is a deluge.
Even that would be satisfactory, provided that the focus was on outcomes and not merely on establishing whether the latest fashionable advice was being complied with.

The Executive does not holdinformation on the costs of house buying over time. Research conducted in 2002suggested that the average cost of house buying in Scotland,excluding Stamp Duty was £1,377 at that time.
However, we need to ensure that staff members buy into the framework's policies. One way to achieve that is through our new performance management system, which covers every staff member from front-line staff to the chief executive.
Agencies are working toward the benchmarks provided in those documents and the new Performance Assessment Framework which will provide one of a range of evaluation measures on progress made across Scotland.
