There is no mention of it in the latest Scottish Homes consultation document on its race equality strategy, which leaves it up to housing providers to claim money in the name of ethnic minorities.
At a meeting a couple of months ago we managed to get funding for new domestic meters on our site, which means that we can go into town and buy our own power cards, instead of getting them from the manager.
The service had to wait for new money to be released by either the Executive or the council, and when new money was released it went to those who were at the top of the priority list for care home places.
