The AHSP supports delivery of new build homes, rehabilitation projects, conversions and off-the-shelf purchases of both new and second hand homes. Figures for future years planned investment by housing associations have not been agreed.
However, we are also aware of the challenges in attracting skilled workers into a number of sectors that predate those events, and we will invest an additional £500 million over the course of this Parliament to support new jobs and to reskill people for the good, fair and green jobs of the future.
We are investing more than £73 billion in health and social care over the resource spending review period, and a further £1.3 billion in capital funding through to 2025-26, to support recovery. We have put in place the NHS climate emergency and sustainability strategy to support boards to implement energy efficiency measures and generate on-site renewable electricity.
