To ask the Scottish Government what communication it has had with the UK Government regarding the introduction of a digital sales tax in Scotland. There has been no discussion between the UK and Scottish Governments over the introduction of a digital sales tax in Scotland.
We can see that most recently in the case of a proposed ban on sale of glue traps in the Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill, a matter lying outside a common frameworks, but where an IMA exclusion is required in the Scottish Government’s view.
Those are not just numbers; they represent 700 or 1,300 households who could be benefiting from safe, warm homes in which to raise their families. We could have had 700 new homes last year, 700 new homes the year before and 700 new homes the year before that.
