Table 1 details the number and quantity of seizures of cocaine and crack cocaine in Scotland from 1995 to 2000, the latest year where published data is available.
Has the Law Society engaged before in the process of proposing levels at which it thinks fees should be set? Is this a new thing? It is new for us, but I doubt whether it is new for the Law Society, although perhaps it is.
To an extent, it also applies in all EU member states. Any new instruments on conflict of law rules and on jurisdiction would have to take that into account.
