To ask the Scottish Executive how many health technology assessments the Health Technology Board for Scotland has completed since 1 April 2000. The Health Technology Board for Scotland has not yet completed a health technology assessment.
It is not added to any Scottish drinking water at present but occurs naturally in some.There is no evidence that the addition of fluoride at the optimum (1 ppm) level for dental health would have any implications for organic farming or for horticulture.
Representatives of the Scottish Prison Service and the Prison Officers’ Association attended a conciliation hearing on 1 May 2001 which was chaired by the Director of ACAS for Scotland.As a result, the dispute about staff attendance patterns has been referred for resolution to an Independent Arbiter appointed by ACAS.
The Drug Court Working Group, chaired by Sheriff Principal Bowen, submitted its report on 1 May. This set out its proposed model for a pilot Drug Court at Glasgow Sheriff Court and opens the way for the establishment of the first drug court in Scotland.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether there has been any delay in the central heating initiative due to start on 1 April 2001. No. Local authorities have already begun the process of installing central heating systems under the Executive-funded £350 million programme.

To ask the Scottish Executive what action it will take in response to the Action Plan produced by the Scottish White Fish Processing Action Group on 12 February 2001. I announced on 8 March that £1 million will be made available to the processing industry to implement recommendations made in the Scottish Fish Processors' Working Group report.
