Yesterday, we spent a whole morning giving more than 100 establishments—nurseries, primary schools and as many as half a dozen out of 26 high schools—bronze, silver and gold awards for the promotion of healthy eating.
Difficulties must arise for anybody who is trying to develop a new economy. As John Foster suggested, when new offices come to Govan, new jobs do not result for local people.

The Executive is aware of theSustainable Development Commission’s latest publication on nuclear power.The Scottish Executive positionon nuclear power remains that we will not support the construction of new nuclearpower stations while waste management issues remain unresolved.
DCS have asked SGA for examples of unacceptable out-of-season". Paragraph 26 is also worrying and reminds me a little of having a repeat prescription whereby you do not need to see the doctor again.
However, the audience that we reach through tartan day is made up not of film makers but of the wider American public, who might be interested in buying a book of a film or coming to visit Scotland.
We have seen new rolling stock and new safety measures at stations, with better closed-circuit television.
