Given that I do not foresee enormous confusion over the matter, it is not something that I want to die in a ditch over. I was merely curious as to whether there had been any conversation between the people in the Executive and their counterparts down south.
Other places, particularly in North America, have done such research and the best thing that we can do at this point is to transfer that research into the Scottish environment.
We should follow that up. I take on board that point and your earlier point, but the rules of the Parliament are that if an MSP wishes to come along to another committee they are free to do so.
However, I am not sure that the SNP is best placed to make that point given, as has been pointed out—although I make the point from a different perspective—its commitment to invest £1.8 billion in its policy on student loans.
