To ask the Scottish Executive what percentage of businesses have websites and how this percentage compares with businesses in (a) the rest of Europe and (b) other countries in the rest of the world.
We will continue to work to improve and update the Scottish Executive website, including making it easier for people to respond to consultations and getting their views across.
Written evidence lays the foundations, but it is through oral evidence that we will get to the point that we want to reach. The best thing to do is return to the paper that is before us and work through each section.
Glasgow City Council has already held preliminary discussions with Glasgow Chamber of Commerce about how best to maximise the opportunities for business in Scotland.
