I am grateful to the Scottish warm homes campaign for appearing today. We considered its petition on 26 April last year when, to a large extent, we were quite a different committee.
Obviously, if we find that there are more amendments than we have scheduled time for on 26 March, we can hold some of them over until the second meeting.
The access provisions of the bill apply equally to the whole of Scotland and will not only provide the public with greater confidence to visit the Scottish countryside, but will result in more opportunities for them to do so by the creation of new paths.

The economic needs of the Borders are being addressed by the New Ways strategy, which has made a number of significant achievements since its launch in March 1999.
For example, Scottish Women's Aid, which is dealing with the wider issue of domestic abuse, this morning welcomed our new campaign to tackle domestic abuse over Christmas and new year.I know that the member takes a keen interest in such issues.
