The current tolling order for Erskine Bridge will expire on 1 July 2006. Anyproposal to extend the tolling period, under powers in section 4(3) of the ErskineBridge Tolls Act 1968, would be effected by Statutory Instrument, subject to affirmative resolution in the Parliament.

With the agreement of the Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments in Scotland, the Scottish Executive extended the closing date for applications for the post of Chair of the Scottish Arts Council until 1 November 2004. We will make an announcement on the new chair as soon as possible after the closing date.
To ask the Scottish Executive what consideration has been given during the review of the children's hearings system to how the provisions within the Additional Support for Learning (Scotland) Act 2004 relate to children's panels. Phase 1 of the review is considering the broad principles and objectives for the children’s hearings system.
There is no payment threshold for the graduate endowment.Liable graduates must pay the endowment on 1 April following graduation but may meet their liability by adding the amount to their student loan.
