As members are aware, the bill will transfer the property, rights, interests, employees and liabilities of the William Simpson’s home to a new charitable company. As currently worded, the bill defines the transferee as“a company, to be incorporated ... under the Companies Acts as a company limited by guarantee”.The effect of amendments 1 and 2 is to reflect the fact that the new charitable company has been incorporated under the Companies Acts.
