That is everybody's right and it is Parliament's duty to the people of Scotland to ensure that we achieve that.We have had a good debate and several important points have been made, but I would like clarification from the minister on two further points of detail.
If there is not a unanimous industry view on how best to achieve that—which was John Swinney's point—it is our objective to secure it.Like Jamie McGrigor, I support fully the concept of working to promote and support the tartan industry in Scotland.
However, it is better to see the whole picture. The points about legal enforcement through the courts are important, but that is not the only, and may not be the best, way to ensure that all authorities meet their obligations.
