To ask the Scottish Executive, with regard to the appointment of non-executive board members to Greater Glasgow Health Board since 1 July 1999, how many candidates were interviewed personally by the Chairman of Greater Glasgow Health Board before appointments were made.

To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-2711 by Mr Jim Wallace on 1 December 1999, on what basis estimates are made of the number of required places for (i) young offenders and (ii) women offenders in Scottish prisons.
To ask the Presiding Officer whether provision will be made for the inclusion of Gaelic, in a meaningful and not token way, in the opening ceremonies and events of 30 June and 1 July. It is appropriate that that there should be a gaelic element in the opening ceremony.
We have also received apologies from Jackie Baillie, although she might be along later, and from the convener, Annabel Goldie.Item 1 concerns the Scottish prison complaints commissioner.
I believe that the market is zero at the moment and that nothing has moved since 1 August. We should be kept up to date with any changes in that situation.
