To ask the Scottish Executive what steps have been and will be taken to ensure that the planning appeals system is compliant with Article 6(1) of the European Convention of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
My officials have had discussions with Advanta by telephone and participated in a meeting with Advanta and the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on 1 June. S1W-07312

We have also received apologies from Jackie Baillie, although she might be along later, and from the convener, Annabel Goldie.Item 1 concerns the Scottish prison complaints commissioner.
I believe that the market is zero at the moment and that nothing has moved since 1 August. We should be kept up to date with any changes in that situation.
My reading of proposed new section 7(1)(a) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 leads me to think that all that is necessary in the first phrase is "a vision statement".
