The Convener of the Holyrood Progress Group has informed me that the reference in The Herald newspaper of 26 September 2000 was to the tender documentation relating to the external cladding of the MSP building.
That creates some difficulties for us as we will all have our own list of points. I will start with mine and invite my colleagues to correct anything that they do not agree with and to add their own points.
That is my concern—that the great written and singing culture that exists in Scotland, in spite of the fact that it is preserved in books, may ultimately die because there is no one to understand it.
