I strongly support the approach to holistic care that is embodied by Maggie's centre. Last week, I visited the Maggie's centre at Edinburgh's Western general hospital, where I was pleased to hear about the developments in services for breast cancer patients, for whom extra theatre sessions and extra specialist breast cancer clinics will be provided as a result of the latest round of cancer investment.Progress is certainly being made, but we have a long way to go.
