Financial assistance for the promotion etc. of the Gaelic language 9C Financial assistance for the promotion etc. of the Gaelic language (1) The Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005 is modified as follows. (2) After section 7A (as inserted by section 9(6)) insert— 20 “Financial assistance for the promotion etc. of the Gaelic language 7B Financial assistance for the promotion etc. of the Gaelic language (1) The Scottish Ministers may give financial assistance to any person for the purposes of promoting, facilitating and supporting the use of the Gaelic language. 25 (2) In subsection (1), “financial assistance” includes grants and loans. (3) Financial assistance under subsection (1) may be made subject to such conditions as the Scottish Ministers think fit.”.
