Stage 1 report on the Land Reform (Scotland) Bill - Compensation methodology
The concern arising from that is that it may put landlords off from offering new tenancies. He said that when looking at this provision through the two lenses of helping existing tenants and the impact on landlords’ willingness to let land “it is perhaps swinging slightly too far towards disincentivising landlords”.

Stage 1 report - Criminal Justice Modernisation and Abusive Domestic Behaviour Reviews (Scotland) Bill - Introduction
The Bill proposes to make the following, which are currently temporary provisions, permanent for criminal cases:
using electronic signatures on court documents
sending court documents electronically
attending criminal court hearings virtually
increasing fixed penalty limits that may be offered by a procurator fiscal (‘fiscal fines’) as an alternative to prosecution through the courts
a national jurisdiction for first callings from custody, allowing the initial stage of some criminal cases to be taken in any sheriff court in Scotland
