UK-EU Future Relationship Negotiations: Fisheries - 8.4 EU- Greenland Fisheries Relations
The original fisheries agreement has since been replaced with a so-called Fisheries Partnership Agreement, concluded in 2006, and entering into force in 2013. This new agreement does not fundamentally alter the system for allocating fishing opportunities to EU vessels and the level of access is still determined through an additional protocol.
