However, given what he and the Scottish National Party said in opposition, does he not think that it is quite wrong for a body for which he has responsibility to be tax dodging? In those end-of-the-road situations, a wider debate is needed about how all the useful people who want to contribute might do so across the range of things that need to be done. We need to allow people to get out of their silos. Such flexibility seems to be allowed in England and Wales.

I am bemused by the terms of the contract that Irene Oldfather described and fines that increase in such a way. It is a matter of getting legal advice, because it seems to me that, in many instances, such contracts are not enforceable and cannot be successfully pursued.
