Will the police pay rise about which the First Minister was boasting earlier during question time apply to the 1,000 extra officers that the SNP manifesto promised, or only to the 500 maybe that we are apparently now getting? We were not referring to a specific case but were looking at the principle of discretionary compensation, and it appears that it has not been referred to the no-fault compensation review group. We should get back to the Government and suggest that it look again at what we really asked and consider referring it to that group.
