I was impressed by the work that the project does and I am pleased to see it recognised in the Parliament. While I was on that visit, we spoke in great detail about the real concern that we should all have to ensure that abuse is seen in the widest sense, including financial abuse.

I hope that that alleviates the concerns of social landlords and their tenants, and that it will ensure that, under Scottish choices, landlords will be paid on the same day as their tenants.
The Scottish Human Rights Commission is working with some tenants associations to make sure that tenants use their right to get an adequate house and decent shelter.
