The purpose of the instrument is to amend the Race Relations Act 1976 (Statutory Duties) (Scotland) Order 2002.The amendment order applies the employment monitoring duties of the original order to the Gaelic bòrd and adds four bodies to schedule 1 to the order, requiring them to publish a race equality scheme.
