NHS Ayrshire and Arran will receive nearly £1.1 billion in baseline funding, which equates to an increased investment of £88.2 million from 2025-26.

The current financial position means that we are prioritising targeted support for those pupils who are most in need. In 2025-26, we are providing £37 million of resource to support the expansion of free school meals to pupils in primaries 6 and 7 who are in receipt of the Scottish child payment.

Economic development in Scotland - Current focus
In particular, the Programme for Government highlighted commitments to:
create a £100 million Green Jobs Fund
allocate £60 million to support industrial and manufacturing decarbonisation
maintain current levels of spend on active travel at £100million per year
