Introduction
The Air Departure Tax (Scotland) Bill ("the ADT Bill") was introduced in the Parliament on 19 December 2016 by Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Constitution, Derek Mackay MSP ("the Cabinet Secretary"). This is the latest bill to arise from measures enacted in the Scotland Act 2016.
We could phrase our request, "Will the Scottish Government set an independent review in train?" In that way, we could get over the problem that he raised.
We also take very seriously the need to support schools to tackle Islamophobia. We are currently developing a new framework for Scotland, which will set out the Government’s approach to promoting race equality and tackling racism and inequality.
