I met with Strathclyde Partnership for Transport on 27 January 2011 and also on 23 February 2011, when I opened the new park and ride facility at Croy. We discussed a range of issues, including the subway modernisation.
At first glance, a lay person might read the rules and ask, “What’s the best price we can get—how much money can we get—and will we knock up to 25 per cent off it?”

Preparations are underway to allow work to begin immediately after the formation of the new government in May 2016. A specific date will be agreed with review group representatives.

If completed in time, it hopes that the turbine assembly will take place at the Siemens new facility on the Humber. If not, the turbines will come from Siemens plant in Esbjerg, Denmark.

The Scottish Government are committed to making improvements at the Haudagain roundabout once work on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route scheme is finished, and are reviewing the programme in light of the new completion date. S4W-23458
