The Scottish Government modelling work that Mr O’Kane mentioned showed a fall in relative child poverty levels in Scotland from roughly 26 per cent to 19 per cent. However, the discourse on that was about the target being 18 per cent.
The responses to a public consultation which closed on 26 January are currently being analysed to further develop the policy, and an independent analysis of those responses will be published shortly.

To ask the Scottish Government how much funding has been committed to reopening the Independent Living Fund to new applicants in (a) 2024-25 and (b) 2025-26.
