The "search of a child without warrant under existing enactment"iiSection 25, Age of Criminal Responsibility (Scotland) Bill – that is, the ability to search a child under 12 where their behaviour would have justified a search under existing statutory search powers if they were over 12.
Section 26 of the Bill provides for an order authorising the search of a child under 12 in certain circumstances (e.g. if the child is behaving in a violent or sexually violent way).

Report on Homelessness - Care-experienced people
Under these duties, the Scottish Care Leavers Covenant explained that:
a fundamental responsibility of this role is to provide safe, caring and appropriate housing for looked after children and those leaving care under 26;
corporate parenting requires collaborative working and that improvements could not be made by organisations working alone;
in practice the responsibility for requesting support under the Act can remain with the young person; but
that it is critical that young people up to the age of 26 are aware of their rights and entitlements and are provided with appropriate support to access services.

Civil Litigation (Expenses and Group Proceedings) (Scotland) Bill as amended at Stage 2
As the amendment has yet to be lodged, the Committee did not want to delay the publication of this report given the Stage 3 debate is scheduled for Thursday 26 April. It will therefore consider the delegated powers provision in the proposed amendment at its next meeting where it will decide whether it requires to publish a supplementary report.
