Within the difficult financial environment a decision has not yet been made on the funding for the Low-cost Initiative for First Time Buyers (LIFT) scheme for 2025-26.Any decision on funding for LIFT will be made within the full context of the Scottish Government’s budget discussions for FY 2025-26.

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will detail the extent of subcontract work being undertaken by Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Limited for BAE Systems on the Type 26 Frigate programme. Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Limited has advised us that it has reached agreement to second some of its staff to work for BAE Systems on fabrication work for the Type 26 Frigate programme.

In response to this evidence, the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) said that, under current guidance, it would be “unlikely” that researchers would be allowed access to court records.
