There is certainly a broader issue to examine. The news about the environmental impact assessment is welcome, but I think that John Wilson's suggestions are worth considering.We should also seek a response from Historic Scotland on how we might preserve historic battlefield sites or enhance them through sensitive development that respects their integrity.
