The Committee notes the Scottish Government’s new “innovation active” indicator which adopts the wider definition of business innovation as used in the UK Innovation Survey.
As times get hard, I see it as an important part of moving forward. The committee recently visited the Borders to look at some of the integration work that is being done there, which seems to be moving on apace.
