The scheme allows a person to apply for a court order protecting or restricting the publication of identifying details of a deceased victim 23 of a sexual offence . • New South Wales 24 25. Section 15A of the Children (Criminal Proceedings) Act 1987 (NSW) prohibits the publication or broadcast of the name or any information, picture or other material that identifies a person who was aged under 18 at the time of the offence to which proceedings relate was committed. 26.
