We will invest an additional £4 million in 2025-26 in helping local authorities, front-line services and relevant partners prepare for the new prevention duties and respond to the housing emergency by preventing homelessness before it occurs.
Through its innovation programme, it supports businesses to scale up through new product development, investment in new R&D, digital technology and advanced manufacturing technologies.
This year, we are providing £185 million to support 25,500 new modern apprenticeships, 5,000 new foundation apprenticeships and more than 1,200 new graduate apprenticeships.

In the past year we have worked to promote uptake of these supports, including by enhancing information available through our Parent Club website and delivering our Parental Employability and Financial Support marketing campaign, which ran from 13 February until 26 March 2023.
