There has been no discernible abuse. When I visited Oregon, I met the medical examiner and spoke with doctors in the regulatory bodies.The debate is not about statistics, but I quoted those statistics because I have heard time after time in recent years that the law would be abused by a mythical queue of doctors who are waiting to abuse a new law even though they have every means available to them to abuse the current law.
