To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is envisaged that individuals eligible for free national bus travel will be subject to future restrictions, such as free bus travel only being possible outwith peak travel times.
To ask the Scottish Executive how much land has been designated, or has had planning permission granted, for future housing development, broken down by local authority area, and how much of this land is designated as part of a green belt.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether the implementation group for the review of neurosurgery services in Scotland has met and what its schedule is for future meetings. The implementation group hasnot yet met, but we would expect that it will hold its initial meeting in autumn2006.

We have commissioned a studyof the transport issues in and around Maybole and expect to see the reportlater this year. Decisions on future investment, including any possible bypass,will be made in the light of that report.

It is for the football authorities to ensure that professional football in Scotland has a sustainable future. The Enterprise and Culture Committee has commissioned one of its members to carry out an investigation into the finances of Scottish football and related matters and we look forward to considering the report when it is available.
