I am giving consideration to such a review in the context of work on the integration of health and social care services, new models of care and the implementation of the dementia standards and will keep the Parliament informed.
The Scottish Government is still in the early stages of considering how to introduce new enterprise zones in Scotland so as to maximise their economic impact.
My final question goes back to something that Kenny Gibson mentioned earlier, in relation to the fact that people’s experiences differ quite widely across the country, depending on the demographic make-up of the school and so on. Before lockdown, I visited a classroom to give a little talk and to chat with the pupils.
Hospital Beds (Availability) To ask the Scottish Government what average number and percentage of hospital beds was unavailable to new patients in 2015, and how this compared with the average number of bed-occupied days because of delayed discharges.
The campaign has an opt-in national model of delivery that is flexible to suit local needs. To date, 11 new local authorities have expressed an interest in it, and six of them are now actively involved in delivering the programme.
We would also like the Government to do more work on proposed new section 38M to the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 2003, as inserted by section 81 of the bill, and I hope that it will still have a change of heart in that regard.
