That funding also ensured practices had sufficient funds to meet increased costs of staff absence, and were able to make adjustments to new ways of working during the pandemic.
It undertook several one off evidence sessions and inquiries including Building Regulations and Fire Safety, Alcohol Licensing and the First Tier Tribunal (Housing and Property Chamber). It also began and reported on a new Inquiry into Empty Homes in Scotland.
The inquiry is now incorporating the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP) Edinburgh and the Department of Clinical Neurosciences following the Cabinet Secretary's decision on 4 July 2019 to delay the move to the new site due to a number of building systems standards not being met, including ventilation systems.
Clause 30 makes additional provision under clauses 28 and 29, allowing the Secretary of State to delegate functions to other bodies and make sector-specific provision, and also sets the procedure for creating new regulations under the above two clauses.

Background
Part a) of the new fuel poverty definition relates to the fuel costs necessary to heat the home to the requisite temperatures for the requisite number of hours.

Scottish Government amendments 16, 17 and 18 clarified the definitions and processes around adding a mark in the valuation roll for new and improved properties.
Scottish Government amendments 19 and 20 clarify how and when parks should be eneted on the valuation roll.
Both of these provisions have been removed from the new Bill. This may result in the UK Parliament facing a challenge in being able to both scrutinise and influence the nature of the future relationship negotiations.
