Turning Point Scotland felt that whilst there was evidence of good practice in Finland, some of their units felt temporary and there was an expectation that people would move on.
It was always helpful to have somebody there who had a psychiatric background, because they would be the best person to question the doctor in charge of the prisoner about the management of certain issues.
I thank the minister for the statement updating us on the negotiations. A key point, however, remains: we cannot give up on the single market and the customs union, despite the Tories’ best attempts.
