I will try to address the substance of Mr Sarwar’s points. I am concerned about those points, and I will happily look in more detail at the issues that he has raised.
One thing that came up in the consultation was that, as long as the same checks were applied to imports as to domestic eggs, we will be happy. Again, we went back to the point that the best way that we can guarantee that is to do those checks at the points of destination.
It comes back to the point that Dmitry Grozoubinski made. We are talking not about the UK in isolation but about the UK against other competitor countries.
Her feet are in a mess, and she is in discomfort and pain. When you talk about polypharmacy, she is a case in point; she told me the great number of medicines that she is on.
There can be some confusion, and a number of vaccination programmes are under way. We have talked about a third dose, and we talk about a booster dose, a flu vaccine and so on.
I am keen on what we can do in libraries in Scotland. I raised that point previously with Citizens Advice Scotland, which talked about some of its services.
Ruth Maguire declared an interest as having been a councillor on North Ayrshire Council and a member of North Ayrshire Integration Joint Board.
