Remand prisoners are entitled to daily visits. Visitors centres can be a much more helpful environment for families who visit prison on such a frequent basis, especially if children are involved.

Housing Legislation (Review) (PE1756) The next continued petition is PE1756, by James Mackie, calling on the Scottish Government to review current housing legislation in circumstances where a non-tenant has been responsible for domestic or elder abuse.
Prior to that, I spoke at the NFUS annual general meeting, and last Saturday night, I had the pleasure of dinner at the Scottish Tenant Farmers Association. At lunch time today, I met several farmers in the meat sector from Lochaber.
They are concerned that the study featured only 25 pubs, only 10 of which were fully tied and none of which were free-of-tie, tenanted pubs. The minister is aware that I propose to introduce a member’s bill on tied pubs.

The court would have discretion to take into account the tenant’s situation—for example, whether they had children, a disability or another vulnerability—and to give a length of notice that would fit the tenant’s circumstances.

To ask the Scottish Government how many website (a) visits and (a) unique users to the Energy Skills Passport pilot scheme there have been in each month since it was launched on 22 January 2025.
