*S6M-01846 Jackie Dunbar: Aberdeen FC Finalists in Best COVID-19 Response at Sports Business Awards—That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen FC on reaching the finals in the Best COVID-19 Response by a Club category in the Sports Business Awards; understands that both Aberdeen FC and Aberdeen FC Community Trust provided support not only to fans but also to the wider community, delivering support to 15,800 people, including more than 9,000 children; further understands that a virtual call centre was set up to provide a very important social lifeline for the elderly and vulnerable fans, which expanded to provide wider support, with over 20,000 wellbeing calls being made; notes that the campaign #StillStandingFree was created to provide information to, and engage with people, particularly those in isolation, whilst offering practical support to those in need; recognises the outstanding work carried out by both Aberdeen FC and Aberdeen FC Community Trust, and wishes them the best of luck in the finals.
