Visits to club academies
In the course of consideration of the petition the Committee undertook a number of visits to academies, specifically:
Celtic FC
Forth Valley Football Academy (Falkirk FC)
Hibernian FC
Ross County FC
St Mirren FC.
Secondly, the new administrative and organisational arrangements will be put in place to enable the delivery of the policy and management functions currently delivered by the FC in Scotland.
The summit was attended by Scottish Ministers and representatives of the former Strathclyde Police force, Celtic FC, Rangers FC, the Scottish Football Association, the Scottish Football League and the Scottish Premier League.
The main costs associated with establishing new organisational arrangements are -
Moving and integrating FCS and FES IT to the Scottish Government's network, estimated to be between £2.05 - £8.05 million, between 2017/18 - 2020/21.
