To ask the Scottish Government whether it has developed and is currently providing a Women's Health Community Pharmacy service, and, if not, when it will.
Answer
The Women’s Health Plan, published in August 2021, contains an action to implement a Women’s Health Service in community pharmacies.
This service will be introduced on an incremental basis over the next few years. The first step was the introduction of bridging contraception in community pharmacies from November 2021.

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will undertake an audit of secondary breast cancer in Scotland, and what the reasons are for its position on this matter.
Answer
The Scottish Government is currently undertaking a thorough review of its options in relation to collecting data on secondary breast cancer in Scotland, taking consideration of clinical time required and how it can be used to improve services. We are currently in dialogue with Public Health Scotland, NHS England and the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership alongside breast cancer specialists and the Third Sector.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S6W-12846 by Angus Robertson on 13 December 2022, whether it will release the number of (a) Gaelic and (b) Scots language speakers recorded in the 2022 Census early in order to inform its proposed Scottish Languages Bill.
Answer
National Records of Scotland (NRS) will release the 2022 census outputs in phases. NRS are currently consulting with data users on the outputs from Scotland's Census 2022, including plans for publishing census data. NRS are asking users to give their views on the order and sequencing of topics published.
The current working plan for the first release of Census 2022 data is to deliver rounded population estimates approximately one year from the end of the Census data collection period. Further phases of census data publications will then follow with the current intention being to release data on languages in the second phase.

To ask the Scottish Government what plans it has to include bereavement issues as part of the school curriculum.
Answer
The health and wellbeing of children and young people is a top priority for the Scottish Government.
We do not take a prescriptive approach to the education curriculum in Scotland. The curriculum is not statutory and therefore it is for individual schools and local authorities to decide which approaches they use to help them deliver relevant and engaging learning.
The curriculum already provides opportunities for teachers to deliver learning and teaching on bereavement and loss. One of the health and wellbeing “experiences and outcomes” ensures that young people are learning skills and strategies which will support them in challenging times, particularly in relation to change and loss.
In addition, Education Scotland's National Improvement Hub contains resources for schools to support them in delivering learning and teaching on bereavement issues.

To ask the Scottish Government how many (a) fatal and (b) non-fatal accidents involving (i) HGVs and (ii) other vehicles on the A77 there were in 2022, and whether it will provide a breakdown of these figures by the section of the road that passes through South Ayrshire.
Answer
I replied to a similar question from the member on 15 June 2022 (S6W-08828) explaining that collision data for 2022 was not available at that time. Data on fatal and non-fatal road collisions for 2022 are still being collected and provisional figures will be available in May 2023. I will therefore be able to provide an update to the members’ question at that time.
