11 May 2022: The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders on the basis that the mapping technology has been updated since the petition was lodged in 2017; but in doing so, agreed to maintain a watching brief on Registers of Scotland’s approach to handling complaints from members of the public, and how it monitors the success of that approach as part of its regular update sessions with the Keeper of the Registers.
