This Cross-party group's purpose:

To ensure issues affecting children and young people are recognised and discussed throughout the working of the Scottish Parliament, in order to ensure that the needs and rights of children and young people are met throughout Scotland. 

Next meeting

Tuesday, May 3, 2022

 The next CPG on Children and Young People is going to take place on 3 May from 15:30 – 17:00.

At the meeting, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, Shirley-Anne Somerville, will attend to discuss the findings from the Pandemic Impact Survey. The CPG ran the survey between Dec 2021 -  Jan 2022 to understand the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic to service delivery and on the children, young people and families.
