As required by Article 83 of the Scottish Parliament (Elections etc.) Order 2015, I have sent a notice to the returning officer for the constituency of Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse informing him of the vacancy arising from the death of Christina McKelvie MSP. Under Rule 1.5.1 of Standing Orders, the date of the vacancy is 27 March 2025.
