Beatson Oncologist Nominated for Scottish Women’s Award 2023

That the Parliament congratulates Dr Ioanna Nixon, Clinical Director of the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, on being nominated for a Scottish Women’s Award 2023; understands that Dr Nixon has been named as a finalist in the Service in Medicine category; recognises that each nominee has demonstrated dedication, innovation and leadership in their fields, showcasing the diversity and strength of talent present among Scottish women; notes that the winners of the Scottish Women’s Awards 2023 will be announced on 16 September 2023 at Glasgow Marriott Hotel, and understands that the evening will feature keynote speeches, and opportunities to learn from some of Scotland’s most accomplished women.
