That the Parliament recognises that the NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital has become the first hospital in Scotland to be accredited by the Royal College of Physicians’ Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal (GI) Endoscopy; understands that the internationally-recognised JAG accreditation is a measure of excellence for all aspects of clinical quality, safety, patient experience, the environment and the workforce; further understands that the award recognises the Clydebank hospital’s dedication to delivering the highest possible standard of safe, effective and person-centred care; congratulates the Golden Jubilee’s GI Endoscopy team on achieving such a high standard of service to patients, and looks ahead to plans for a NHS Scotland Academy and a National Endoscopy Training Programme.
