That the Parliament acknowledges that several Aberdeenshire West groups have successfully received funding from the UK-wide National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the grants awarded include a £6,000 grant for the Cactus Book Club, to send out wellbeing packages to young people aged 16 to 25 affected by long-term health conditions who live in rural areas, £3,500 for the Kemnay Community Council, to provide free local village events, such as their festive celebrations, to bring the community together, and a £10,000 grant to The Silver Circle SCIO, to continue its day-care provision, providing activities for older people within Strathdon and the surrounding area; celebrates that these funds are contributed by the National Lottery Community Fund to help communities thrive, and wishes these local groups the best for the future.
